At last, an affordable, portable, rugged solution for soft, even hotshoe flash lighting.
At only $7 CDN, this little baby will out-perform other commercially available flash modifiers which cost 5x as much or more.
Below are samples from the $37 Sto-Fen Omnibounce (left) vs. the $7 Cyclops Type-B (right):
 
- The Cyclops Type-B was shot with the flash direct on the subject from very close range, yet is still able to affect some softening of the shadows.
- The Sto-Fen Omnibounce on the other hand, was shot with the flash bounced at 45 degrees, as without bounce it has no dampening effect at all. Yet even with that bounce, the Omnibounce failed to reduce shadows much, instead causing uneven exposure throughout the image.
- You can see how the Type-B image is evenly lit throughout, while the Omnibounce is poorly exposed at the bottom and overexposed at the top.
This is the advantage of a true soft-light system which can be used directionally instead of bounced.
The Cyclops Type-B is small and portable, an unobtrusive friend to pack in any bag.
Mounting is achieved via soft, pliable plastic which is custom fit to your flash head.

For all other flash types, custom order is available for no extra charge, but you will be required to leave your flash with us while a template is made for it. Your model will then be added to the availability list for purchase at any time.
